Revert r330897:

This was intended to be a non-functional change. It wasn't. The commit
message was thus wrong. In addition it broke arm, and merged crypto
related code.

Revert with prejudice.

This revert skips files touched in r316370 since that commit was since
MFCed. This revert also skips files that require $FreeBSD$ property
changes.

Thank you to those who helped me get out of this mess including but not
limited to gonzo, kevans, rgrimes.

Partial merge of the SPDX changes

These changes are incomplete but are making it difficult
to determine what other changes can/should be merged.

Copy head@r302406 to stable/11 as part of the 11.0-RELEASE cycle.
Prune svn:mergeinfo from the new branch, as nothing has been merged
here.

db(3): Fix aliasing warnings from modern GCC.

While here also drop a malloc cast.

Obtained from: NetBSD (CVS Rev. 1.18 - 1.20)

Several signed/unsigned warning fixes.

Style changes (including additional casts to shut up warnings). This
commit does not affect MD5 of object file.

Rename variable 'index' to 'idx' to avoid name collision with index(3),
this commit does not affect any object code.

Fix the style of the SCM ID's.
I believe have made all of libc .c's as consistent as possible.

If using a DB_RECNO, db::put should return the new key if R_IAFTER is
set, not the previous key.

Add $FreeBSD$, not taking this off the vendor branch because it's not on.

Replace memory leaking instances of realloc with non-leaking reallocf.
In some cases replace if (a == null) a = malloc(x); else a =
realloc(a, x); with simple reallocf(a, x). Per ANSI-C, this is
guaranteed to be the same thing.

I've been running these on my system here w/o ill effects for some
time. However, the CTM-express is at part 6 of 34 for the CAM
changes, so I've not been able to do a build world with the CAM in the
tree with these changes. Shouldn't impact anything, but...

Fix conflicts and merge into mainline
