Migrate CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to Kconfig using system-constants.h

- Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR
- Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack
pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation.
- On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not
set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them.
- On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation.
- CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most
board config header files.

Finish conversion of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to Kconfig

In order to finish moving this symbol to Kconfig for all platforms, we
need to do a few more things. First, for all platforms that define this
to a function, introduce CONFIG_DYNAMIC_SYS_CLK_FREQ, similar to
CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ and populate clock_legacy.h. This entails
also switching all users from CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to get_board_sys_clk()
and updating a few preprocessor tests.

With that done, all platforms that define a value here can be converted
to Kconfig, and a fall-back of zero is sufficiently safe to use (and
what is used today in cases where code may or may not have this
available). Make sure that code which calls this function includes
<clock_legacy.h> to get the prototype.

CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ: Consistently be static or get_board_sys_clk()

This CONFIG option is used in one of two ways. The first way is that it
is defined to a static value, of an unsigned long size. The second way
is that it is defined to something, typically a function, to determine
this value at run time.

However, in a few cases that function returns a static value. Change
that to using the static value directly.

In the case of using something at run time, convert everything to using
a function of the same name and prototype. This will allow for further
cleanups.

Finally, we have a few cases where the function is just not used, so
drop it.

arm: Disable ATAGs support

With the exceptions of ds109, ds414, icnova-a20-swac, nokia_rx51 and
stemmy, disable ATAG support. A large number of platforms had enabled
support but never supported a kernel so old as to require it. Further,
some platforms are old enough to support both, but are well supported by
devicetree booting, and have been for a number of years. This is
because some of the ATAGs related functions have been re-used to provide
the same kind of information, but for devicetree or just generally to
inform the user. When needed still, rename these functions to
get_board_revision() instead, to avoid conflicts. In other cases, these
functions were simply unused, so drop them.

ARM: da850-evm: Fix boot issues from missing SPL_PAD_TO

In a previous attempt to unify config options and remove items
from the whitelist file, SPL items were moved into a section
enabled with CONFIG_SPL_BUILD. Unfortunately, SPL_PAD_TO
is referenced at the head Makefile and uses this define
to create padding of the output file. When it was moved
to CONFIG_SPL_BUILD, it caused boot errors with devices
that are not booting from NOR. Fix the boot issues by moving
SPL_PAD_TO out so it's always.

ARM: da850-evm: Unify config options with Kconfig

There are two options that are currently whitelisted, but they
are redundant, because there are not necessary since Kconfig options
exist to basically state the same thing.

CONFIG_DIRECT_NOR_BOOT and CONFIG_USE_NOR are both set together and
only used by the da850 when booting from NOR, however the only time
CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH is configured is when booting from NOR. Since
NOR doesn't need SPL, the options for SPL can be moved to a check for
building SPL instead of checking for NOR.

This patch removes the checks for these two config options and unifies
the checks around the Kconfig option of CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH.

Since this board is the only board that uses these two config options,
they can be removed from the whitelist table.

- On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define
to 0.
- Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR.
- Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it.
- Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and
SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT
- On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR
for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location.
- On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but
rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default.
- Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use
CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within
ENV_IS_IN_FLASH.
- Migrate all platforms.

mtd: spi: Clean up usage of CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_MTD

Most boards currently use SPI_FLASH_MTD only in U-Boot proper, not in
SPL. They often rely on hacks in the board header files to include
this option conditionally. To be able to fix this, we previously
introduced a separate option SPL_SPI_FLASH_MTD.

Therefore we can now adjust the Makefile and change the code in
sf_probe.c and sf_internal.h to use CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(SPI_FLASH_MTD).

We also need to move all occurences of CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_MTD from the
header files to the according defconfigs. The affected boards are
socfpga, aristainetos, cm_fx6, display5, ventana, rcar-gen2, dh_imx6
and da850evm.

We do this all in one patch to guarantee bisectibility.

This change was tested with buildman to make sure it does not
introduce any regressions by comparing the resulting binary sizes.

ARM: da850-evm: Increase environment NOR partition offset

The current size allocated to U-Boot is 384k, but U-Boot has grown
to 436K which means that saving the environmental variables wipes
out part of the U-Boot source and the board ceases to function.
Due to the sector and erase size for the NOR part and a desire to
not have to change partition sizes often, this patch moves the
U-Boot environmental variables to an offset of 1M so saveenv
does not brick the board. This patch also sets up MTDIDS and
MTDPARTS to clearly show where U-Boot and U-Boot's environmental
variables are located.

ARM: da850-evm: Fix Lowlevel init

A previous patch for enabling the NAND config set a flag called
CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT when it should have been called
CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT_ONLY. The affect this had was creating
a delay on startup for the NOR version which is XIP and doesn't have
SPL, so the lowlevel initialization functions need to operate.
This delay was not really noticeable at first, but the delays have been
getting longer, finally reached the point of nearly seven seconds
before the board would appear to start.

This patch sets the CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT_ONLY instead which means
"The normal CP15 init (such as enabling the instruction cache) is still
performed" per the README. It doesn't appear to have any adverse
behavior on the SPI Flash or the NAND flash boards which use SPL.

davinci: da850-evm: enable driver model for NAND

Enable the driver-model on da850-evm. We need to add a dummy nand node
to the device tree, as the real nand node is a sub-node of the aemif
device.

On linux the aemif driver populates all its child nodes, but we can't do
it in u-boot currently.

davinci: da850evm/omapl138-lcdk: Move BSS to SDRAM because SRAM is full

In order to fully support SPL_OF_CONTROL, we need BSS to be a bit
larger. This patch relocates BSS to SDRAM instead of SRAM which
is similar to how ARMv7 boards (like OMAP2+) do it.

This means two new variables are required:
CONFIG_SPL_BSS_START_ADDR set to DAVINCI_DDR_EMIF_DATA_BASE
CONFIG_SPL_BSS_MAX_SIZE is set to 0x1080000 which is 1 byte
before the location where U-Boot will load.

When the spi_flash_probe_bus_cs() was previously called, it was
called using 0's for two values where CONFIG_ENV_SPI_MAX_HZ and
CONFIG_ENV_SPI_MODE are now used. When changed this
caused the environment to fail the CRC check and the default
was used. This patch defines both of these values back 0.

SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.

In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.

This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

it. Next, consolidate all of these into the single entry in
drivers/serial/Kconfig. Finally, introduce CONS_INDEX_[023456] so that

In fact this already exists for sunxi as a 'choice' config. However not
all the choices are available in Kconfig yet so we cannot use that. It
would lead to more than one option being set.

In addition, one purpose of this series is to allow the environment to be
stored in more than one place. So the existing choice is converted to a
normal config allowing each option to be set independently.

There are not many opportunities for Kconfig updates to reduce the size of
this patch. This was tested with

./tools/moveconfig.py -i CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC

And then manual updates. This is because for CHAIN_OF_TRUST boards they
can only have ENV_IS_NOWHERE set, so we enforce that via Kconfig logic
now.

Kconfig: Finish migration of hashing commands

Currently these (board agnostic) commands cannot be selected using
menuconfig and friends. Fix this the obvious way. As part of this,
don't muddle the meaning of CONFIG_HASH_VERIFY to mean both 'hash -v'
and "we have a hashing command" as this makes the Kconfig logic odd.

flash: complete CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH move with renaming

We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is
not completed. Finish this work by the tool.

During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH.
Actually, we have more instances of "#ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH"
than those of "#ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH". Flipping the logic will
make the code more readable. Besides, negative meaning symbols do
not fit in obj-$(CONFIG_...) style Makefiles.

mmc: move CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC to Kconfig

Now, CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC seems equivalent to CONFIG_MMC.

Let's create an entry for "config GENERIC_MMC" with "default MMC",
then convert all macro defines in headers to Kconfig. Almost all
of the defines will go away.

I see only two exceptions:
configs/blanche_defconfig
configs/sandbox_noblk_defconfig

They define CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC, but not CONFIG_MMC. Something
might be wrong with these two boards, so should be checked later.

Anyway, this is the output of the moveconfig tool.

mmc: complete unfinished move of CONFIG_MMC

Commit 7a777f6d6f35 ("mmc: Add generic Kconfig option") created
a Kconfig entry for this option without any actual moves, then
commit 44c798799f66 ("sunxi: Use Kconfig CONFIG_MMC") moved
instances only for SUNXI.

We generally do not like such partial moves. This kind of work
is automated by tools/moveconfig.py, so it is pretty easy to
complete this move.

I am adding "default ARM || PPC || SANDBOX" (suggested by Tom).
This shortens the configs and will ease new board porting.

We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e.
all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC,
which have not supported Generic Board framework yet.

Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro
defines in include/configs/*.h.

kconfig: add config option for shell prompt

Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate
boards globally.

The migration is done as follows:
- Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the
entry moved to their defconfig files.
- Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the
CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT
right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone.
- This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus
CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h
files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and
includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common,
ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common.
- Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were
not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that
since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever
the default is.
- On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some
<boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common,
bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and
omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files.
- The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for
assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT.

Move default y configs out of arch/board Kconfig

Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config
which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in
the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate.

Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs.

A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as
defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. Those appear to be:

DISPLAY_BOARDINFO

da850evm: Use generic board and libfdt, fix size for SPI flash

Add defines to use CONFIG_SYS_GENERIC_BOARD and CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT.
Semi-separate to this: the size of the image for the da850evm has
increased to the point that the size in da850evm.h and the offset for
the environment in SPI flash no longer work. They are modified to
account for the larger image size.

spl: replace CONFIG_SPL_SPI_* with CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_*

Currently, CONFIG_SPL_SPI_* #defines are used for controlling SPI boot in
SPL. These #defines do not allow the user to select SPI mode for the SPI flash
(there's no CONFIG_SPL_SPI_MODE, so the SPI mode is hardcoded in
spi_spl_load.c), and duplicate information already provided by
CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_* #defines.

Kill CONFIG_SPL_SPI_*, and use CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_* instead.

We are about to switch to Kconfig in the next commit.
But there are something to get done beforehand.

In Kconfig, include/generated/autoconf.h defines boolean
CONFIG macros as 1.

CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL, if defined, must be set to 1.
Otherwise, when switching to Kconfig, the build log
would be sprinkled with warning messages like this:

replaced CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE by CONFIG_SPL_MAX_FOOTPRINT. However,
CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE is used in the Makefile for padding the SPL
when preparing an u-boot.ais image. By removing CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE
said commits broke the ais image of the da850evm and cam_enc_4xx
configurations.

This patch converts the u-boot.ais target to use CONFIG_SPL_PAD_TO
instead of CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE for padding the SPL and adds
a #define CONFIG_SPL_PAD_TO where it is required.

davinci: handle CONFIG_SYS_CLE_MASK and CONFIG_SYS_ALE_MASK

these variables are curently defined in several config files but the
driver doesn't use them and defaults to hardcoded values in
nand_defs.h

It's interesting to be able to change this hardcoded valude when the
hardware is not using the default adress signals to drive ALE and CLE
and two configuration defines already exist for this purpose so use
them.

spl/nand: introduce CONFIG_SPL_NAND_DRIVERS, _BASE, and _ECC.

Some small SPLs do not use nand_base.c, and a subset of those also
require a special driver. Some SPLs need software ECC but others can't
fit it.

All existing boards that specify CONFIG_SPL_NAND_SUPPORT have these
symbols added to preserve existing behavior.

CONFIG_STACKSIZE is not referenced anywhere except on AVR32, but present

da850/omap-l138: Add support to read u-boot image from MMC/SD

DA850/OMAP-L138 does not support strict MMC/SD boot mode. SPL will
be in SPI flash and U-Boot image will be in MMC/SD card. SPL will
do the low level initialization and then loads the u-boot image
from MMC/SD card.

Define CONFIG_SPL_MMC_LOAD macro in the DA850/OMAP-L138
configuration file to enable this feature.

da850/omap-l138: Make MMC and NOR support mutually exclusive

On Logic PD Rev.3 DA850/OMAP-L138 EVM, NOR and MMC/SD cannot
work together. This patch enables the MMC/SD support only
when NOR support is disabled. NOR Flash identification works
even without this patch, but erase and write will have issues.

CONFIG_SYS_BAUDRATE_TABLE: Add <config_fallbacks.h>, place there

We provide a default table of { 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 }
in <config_fallbacks.h> which mkconfig places after <configs/...h> in
the generated config file. This is used when a board has not set its
own table.

Changes to move hawkboard to the new spl infrastructure

This patch moves hawkboard to the new spl infrastructure from the
older nand_spl one.

Removed the hawkboard_nand_config build option -- The spl code now
gets compiled with hawkboard_config, after building the main u-boot
image, using the CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE. Modified the README.hawkboard
to reflect the same.

The V bit of the c1 register of CP15 should not be cleared on DA850
SoCs since they have no valid memory at 0x00000000. This patch
introduces a configuration option CONFIG_SYS_EXCEPTION_VECTORS_HIGH
that allows setting the correct value for the V bit.

This patch reverts commit ca4b55800ed74207c35271bf7335a092d4955416
"arm, arm926ejs: always do cpu critical inits" since it impacts all
arm926ejs based configurations and caused problems, e.g., with
the hawkboard.

Instead the patch removes the CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT defines
from the board configurations that need low level initialization.

that contain pinmux configurations for emac, uarts, memory controllers...
In an earlier patch such pinmux configurations were added to the arch

da850evm: Move LPSC configuration to board_early_init_f()

Since commit f1d2b313c9eb6808d30c16a9eb5251240452a56c the serial
port of the da850evm is accessed before the UART2 peripheral of
the SoC is powered on in the function board_init() in
board/davinci/da8xxevm/da850evm.c.

When u-boot is used in conjunction with the UBL (user boot loader, see
doc/README.davinci) on this board, the UART2 peripheral is already
turned on by UBL at the time u-boot is started. Hence, the wrong
initialization sequence is not noticed by most users. However, if UBL is not
used, u-boot must power on the peripheral before using it.

This patch adds a board_early_init_f() function for the LPSC
configuration to the da850evm board configuration.

da850: indicate cache usage disable in config file

there are cache coherency issues when using the DAVINCI Ethernet driver,
hence caches cant be used for da850 u-boot. As per new cache management
framework,if the caches are not used in u-boot, it needs to be explicitly
indicated through macros in config file. CACHE disable is indicated by
the following macro definitions in config file,

1. CONFIG_SYS_ICACHE_OFF
2. CONFIG_SYS_DCACHE_OFF
3. CONFIG_SYS_L2CACHE_OFF

da850: Add RMII support for EMAC

This patch is a port of the work by Sudhakar Rajeshekhara in commit
ab3effbcad8851cc65dc5241a01c064d2030a3b2 of
git://arago-project.org/git/people/sandeep/u-boot-davinci.git.

The da850 UI board has on it an RMII PHY which can be used if the MDC line
to the MII PHY on the baseboard is disabled and the RMII PHY is enabled by
configuring the values of some GPIO pins on the IO expander of the UI board.
This patch implements disabling that line via GPIO2[6], configuring the UI
board's IO expander and setting only the pinmux settings that are needed for
RMII operation.

Tested on da850evm by adding a define for CONFIG_DRIVER_TI_EMAC_USE_RMII.

DA850 EVM: passing maximum clock rate information to kernel

The TI DA850/OMAP-L138/AM18x EVM can be populated with devices
having different maximum allowed CPU clock rating.

The maximum clock the chip can support can only be determined from
the label on the package (not software readable).

Introduce a method to pass the maximum allowed clock rate information
to kernel using ATAG_REVISION. The kernel uses this information to
determine the maximum cpu clock rate reachable using cpufreq.

Note that U-Boot itself does not set the CPU clock rate. The CPU
clock is setup by a primary bootloader ("UBL"). The rate setup by
UBL could be different from the maximum clock rate supported by the
device.

Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated value

CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not
being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files.
Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not
reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the
asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be
deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all
files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file.

No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar
changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro
definitions as well.

da850evm: fix linux bootparam address

This patch fixes the LINUX_BOOT_PARAM_ADDR define to be based off of
PHYS_SDRAM_1 instead of CONFIG_SYS_MEMTEST_START. On da830 they are the same
thing but on da850 the CONFIG_SYS_MEMSTART define is offset from the
PHYS_SDRAM_1 start.

Without this patch it is not possible to boot linux on da850 -- bootm hangs
at "Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel."

da850evm: basic MII EMAC support

The current da850evm support in u-boot/master omits any use of
the davinci EMAC. This patch adds basic support for the EMAC using
the MII PHY found on the baseboard of the EVM. The MAC address is
read from the environment variable 'ethadd'. Note that this is
different from the da850evm support in the u-boot omapl1 tree
where the MAC address is read from SPI flash.

da8xx: fixup ARM relocation support

Split the existing dram_init for da8xx when ARM reloc is enabled, like the
changes to arch/arm/cpu/arm926ejs/orion5x/dram.c in
0f234d263b17ccf1b8fd776eb8c15b7cdb27a887 by Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>.

Without these changes gd->ram_size is '0' which leads to incorrect relocation
when CONFIG_SYS_ARM_WITHOUT_RELOC is defined and the board does not boot.

We use get_ram_size to dynamically calculate the available RAM because it runs
on different board version with different ram, as suggested by Heiko in private
communication.

Tested on a da850evm with 128M of DDR2 installed; with both
CONFIG_SYS_ARM_WITHOUT_RELOC defined and undefined.

ARM: implement relocation for ARM926

Change the implementation for arm926 to relocate the code to
an arbitrary address in RAM.

Adapt the TX25 (i.MX25), magnesium board to test the changes.

On the tx25 board TEXT_BASE is set to the final relocation
address to prevent one more copying of u-boot code

Migrate CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to Kconfig using system-constants.h

- Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR
- Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack
pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation.
- On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not
set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them.
- On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation.
- CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most
board config header files.

Finish conversion of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to Kconfig

In order to finish moving this symbol to Kconfig for all platforms, we
need to do a few more things. First, for all platforms that define this
to a function, introduce CONFIG_DYNAMIC_SYS_CLK_FREQ, similar to
CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ and populate clock_legacy.h. This entails
also switching all users from CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to get_board_sys_clk()
and updating a few preprocessor tests.

With that done, all platforms that define a value here can be converted
to Kconfig, and a fall-back of zero is sufficiently safe to use (and
what is used today in cases where code may or may not have this
available). Make sure that code which calls this function includes
<clock_legacy.h> to get the prototype.

CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ: Consistently be static or get_board_sys_clk()

This CONFIG option is used in one of two ways. The first way is that it
is defined to a static value, of an unsigned long size. The second way
is that it is defined to something, typically a function, to determine
this value at run time.

However, in a few cases that function returns a static value. Change
that to using the static value directly.

In the case of using something at run time, convert everything to using
a function of the same name and prototype. This will allow for further
cleanups.

Finally, we have a few cases where the function is just not used, so
drop it.

arm: Disable ATAGs support

With the exceptions of ds109, ds414, icnova-a20-swac, nokia_rx51 and
stemmy, disable ATAG support. A large number of platforms had enabled
support but never supported a kernel so old as to require it. Further,
some platforms are old enough to support both, but are well supported by
devicetree booting, and have been for a number of years. This is
because some of the ATAGs related functions have been re-used to provide
the same kind of information, but for devicetree or just generally to
inform the user. When needed still, rename these functions to
get_board_revision() instead, to avoid conflicts. In other cases, these
functions were simply unused, so drop them.

ARM: da850-evm: Fix boot issues from missing SPL_PAD_TO

In a previous attempt to unify config options and remove items
from the whitelist file, SPL items were moved into a section
enabled with CONFIG_SPL_BUILD. Unfortunately, SPL_PAD_TO
is referenced at the head Makefile and uses this define
to create padding of the output file. When it was moved
to CONFIG_SPL_BUILD, it caused boot errors with devices
that are not booting from NOR. Fix the boot issues by moving
SPL_PAD_TO out so it's always.

ARM: da850-evm: Unify config options with Kconfig

There are two options that are currently whitelisted, but they
are redundant, because there are not necessary since Kconfig options
exist to basically state the same thing.

CONFIG_DIRECT_NOR_BOOT and CONFIG_USE_NOR are both set together and
only used by the da850 when booting from NOR, however the only time
CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH is configured is when booting from NOR. Since
NOR doesn't need SPL, the options for SPL can be moved to a check for
building SPL instead of checking for NOR.

This patch removes the checks for these two config options and unifies
the checks around the Kconfig option of CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH.

Since this board is the only board that uses these two config options,
they can be removed from the whitelist table.

- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of
CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so.
- On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define
to 0.
- Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR.
- Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it.
- Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and
SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT
- On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR
for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location.
- On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but
rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default.
- Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use
CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within
ENV_IS_IN_FLASH.
- Migrate all platforms.

mtd: spi: Clean up usage of CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_MTD

Most boards currently use SPI_FLASH_MTD only in U-Boot proper, not in
SPL. They often rely on hacks in the board header files to include
this option conditionally. To be able to fix this, we previously
introduced a separate option SPL_SPI_FLASH_MTD.

Therefore we can now adjust the Makefile and change the code in
sf_probe.c and sf_internal.h to use CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(SPI_FLASH_MTD).

We also need to move all occurences of CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_MTD from the
header files to the according defconfigs. The affected boards are
socfpga, aristainetos, cm_fx6, display5, ventana, rcar-gen2, dh_imx6
and da850evm.

We do this all in one patch to guarantee bisectibility.

This change was tested with buildman to make sure it does not
introduce any regressions by comparing the resulting binary sizes.

ARM: da850-evm: Increase environment NOR partition offset

The current size allocated to U-Boot is 384k, but U-Boot has grown
to 436K which means that saving the environmental variables wipes
out part of the U-Boot source and the board ceases to function.
Due to the sector and erase size for the NOR part and a desire to
not have to change partition sizes often, this patch moves the
U-Boot environmental variables to an offset of 1M so saveenv
does not brick the board. This patch also sets up MTDIDS and
MTDPARTS to clearly show where U-Boot and U-Boot's environmental
variables are located.

ARM: da850-evm: Fix Lowlevel init

A previous patch for enabling the NAND config set a flag called
CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT when it should have been called
CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT_ONLY. The affect this had was creating
a delay on startup for the NOR version which is XIP and doesn't have
SPL, so the lowlevel initialization functions need to operate.
This delay was not really noticeable at first, but the delays have been
getting longer, finally reached the point of nearly seven seconds
before the board would appear to start.

This patch sets the CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT_ONLY instead which means
"The normal CP15 init (such as enabling the instruction cache) is still
performed" per the README. It doesn't appear to have any adverse
behavior on the SPI Flash or the NAND flash boards which use SPL.

davinci: da850-evm: enable driver model for NAND

Enable the driver-model on da850-evm. We need to add a dummy nand node
to the device tree, as the real nand node is a sub-node of the aemif
device.

On linux the aemif driver populates all its child nodes, but we can't do
it in u-boot currently.

davinci: da850evm/omapl138-lcdk: Move BSS to SDRAM because SRAM is full

In order to fully support SPL_OF_CONTROL, we need BSS to be a bit
larger. This patch relocates BSS to SDRAM instead of SRAM which
is similar to how ARMv7 boards (like OMAP2+) do it.

This means two new variables are required:
CONFIG_SPL_BSS_START_ADDR set to DAVINCI_DDR_EMIF_DATA_BASE
CONFIG_SPL_BSS_MAX_SIZE is set to 0x1080000 which is 1 byte
before the location where U-Boot will load.

ARM: configs: Add da850evm_nand to boot from NAND

The DA850-EVM supports booting from NAND when used with the
UI expander board. da850evm_nand will create an ais file
that can be burned to NAND and booted while storing the env in
NAND along with some partitions tables for storing kernel,
dtb and rootfs in NAND.

This patch changes these checks to CONFIG_NAND which is already defined

SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.

In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.

This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

Convert CONFIG_SPI to Kconfig

This converts the following to Kconfig:

This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies
things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update
the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for
CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a
reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures.

Convert all of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX to Kconfig

This converts the following to Kconfig:

We have existing entries for this option in a number of places, with
different guards on them. They're also sometimes used for things not
directly inside of the serial driver. First, introduce a new symbol to
guard the use of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX, so that in the case where we don't
need this for the serial driver, but for some other use, we can still do
it. Next, consolidate all of these into the single entry in
drivers/serial/Kconfig. Finally, introduce CONS_INDEX_[023456] so that
we can imply a correct value here to make the defconfig side of this
smaller.

On the NIOS2 and Xtensa architectures, we do not have
CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE set. This is a strict migration of the current
