28Description: db_env_set_func_pread
29
Replace Berkeley DB calls to the IEEE/ANSI Std 1003.1 (POSIX) pread function with
30func_pread, which must conform to the standard interface
31specification.

32
The db_env_set_func_pread method configures all operations performed by a process and
33all of its threads of control, not operations confined to a single
34database environment.

35
Although the db_env_set_func_pread method may be called at any time during the life of
36the application, it should normally be called before making calls to the
37db_env_create or db_create methods.

38
The db_env_set_func_pread method
39returns a non-zero error value on failure
40and 0 on success.
41

42Parameters
43 func_pread

The func_pread parameter is the replacement function. It must conform
