p The .Nm daemon can be started with the following command line arguments: l -tag -width ".Fl P Ar pidfile" t Fl c Ar config Specify an alternative location of the configuration file. The default location is

a /etc/security/auditdistd.conf . Note: the configuration file may contain passwords. Care should be taken to configure proper permissions on this file .Li ( eg. 0600 ) . t Fl d Print or log debugging information. This option can be specified multiple times to raise the verbosity level. t Fl F Start the .Nm daemon in the foreground. By default .Nm starts in the background. t Fl h Print the .Nm usage message. t Fl l Start in a launchd-friendly mode, ie. do not use .Xr daemon 3 . t Fl P Ar pidfile Specify an alternative location of a file where main process PID will be stored. The default location is
