141394 Sun Feb 06 14:44:27 MST 2005 delphij Finish the import of nc(1) from OpenBSD. This includes:
- Bring IPsec support from the ports collection [1].
- Bring -o ("once only") option from the ports
collection [2].
- Adopt the Makefile framework into
usr.bin/nc/Makefile.
- Add a knob to control whether to build nc(1),
NO_NETCAT.
- Bump __FreeBSD_version so ports collection can
detect this change.

Original patchset are contributed to the ports collection by:
[1] nectar, [2] joerg.

Note: WARNS?=6 patchset spined off in this commit, in order not
to take too many files off the vendor branch.

consts, ANSIfication of functions, proper use of __FBSDID() and so on.

/freebsd-11.0-release/usr.bin/random/
H A Drandomize_fd.hdiff 110928 Sat Feb 15 10:26:10 MST 2003 seanc flexlint rears its head as well as some style(9) fixes[1]. Fixed a
few bugs for a few corner cases and correctly handle the case where
read(2) is read()'ing from a non-file descriptor and could get fewer
bytes back than the buffer, but it isn't EOF[2]. random(6) extensively
tested and believed to be bug free (save performance for large files).

H A DMakefilediff 270951 Mon Sep 01 20:27:04 MDT 2014 ed Add -Wthread-safety to WARNS=6.

While there, add a NO_WTHREAD_SAFETY flag that can be used to disable
this specific warning flag. Disable it for auditdistd. We can easily
patch up auditdistd to have the right annotations to build, but as
auditdistd is intended to be portable across other operating systems,
it's not worth the effort.

Approved by: brueffer@
diff 249657 Fri Apr 19 19:45:33 MDT 2013 ed Add the Clang specific -Wmissing-variable-declarations to WARNS=6.

This compiler flag enforces that that people either mark variables
static or use an external declarations for the variable, similar to how
-Wmissing-prototypes works for functions.

Due to the fact that Yacc/Lex generate code that cannot trivially be
changed to not warn because of this (lots of yy* variables), add a
NO_WMISSING_VARIABLE_DECLARATIONS that can be used to turn off this
specific compiler warning.
