# 909ff2fd 11-Jul-2010 Michael Norrish <Michael.Norrish@nicta.com.au>

Minor fixups to get pgcl example to compile.

Unfortunately, it then fails to build on a proof error. I'll probably leave it
out of K6.

# 4761143b 10-Aug-2009 Tjark Weber <Tjark.Weber@cl.cam.ac.uk>

Removed trailing whitespace from all .sml and .sig files.

This affects over 900 files and was done using emacs's delete-trailing-whitespace
function in batch mode. Building the system with Poly/ML and Moscow ML seems to
work, so I'm hoping these changes don't break anything. Please complain if
they do!

# c93d44d6 30-May-2006 Joe Hurd <joe@gilith.com>

Aaron Coble's port to the latest version of HOL

# 8c0afb40 07-Oct-2003 Joe Hurd <joe@gilith.com>

An extra rewrite in the posreal_reduce_ss simpset.

# 519c25ae 05-Oct-2003 Joe Hurd <joe@gilith.com>

Rational number cancelling for posreals, so 3 / 6 --> 1 / 2.

# 21b090a5 03-Oct-2003 Joe Hurd <joe@gilith.com>

Example tweaked because of the change to LETs.

# 8186796c 08-Apr-2003 Joe Hurd <joe@gilith.com>

A HOL example formalizing pGCL (Probabilistic Guarded Command Language).

pGCL supports both demonic and probabilistic choice, so can in principle
be applied to the verification of distributed random algorithms.

The high-point of this example is the verification of the probabilistic
voting scheme in Rabin's mutual exclusion algorithm.
