selftests: Skip TM tests on synthetic TM implementations Transactional Memory was removed from the architecture in ISA v3.1. For threads running in P8/P9 compatibility mode on P10 a synthetic TM implementation is provided. In this implementation, tbegin. always sets cr0 eq meaning the abort handler is always called. This is not an issue as users of TM are expected to have a fallback non transactional way to make forward progress in the abort handler. The TEXASR indicates if a transaction failure is due to a synthetic implementation. Some of the TM self tests need a non-degenerate TM implementation for their testing to be meaningful so check for a synthetic implementation and skip the test if so. selftests/powerpc: Run tm-tmspr test for longer This test creates some threads, which write to TM SPRs, and then makes sure the registers maintain the correct values across context switches and contention with other threads. But currently the test finishes almost instantaneously, which reduces the chance of it hitting an interesting condition. So increase the number of loops, so it runs a bit longer, though still less than 2s on a Power8. selftests/powerpc: Don't use setaffinity in tm-tmspr This test tries to set affinity to CPUs that don't exist, especially if the set of online CPUs doesn't start at 0. But there's no real reason for it to use setaffinity in the first place, it's just trying to create lots of threads to cause contention. So drop the setaffinity entirely. powerpc/selftests: Wait all threads to join Test tm-tmspr might exit before all threads stop executing, because it just waits for the very last thread to join before proceeding/exiting. This patch makes sure that all threads that were created will join before proceeding/exiting. This patch also guarantees that the amount of threads being created is equal to thread_num.
