selftests/bpf: fix lots of silly mistakes pointed out by compiler Once we enable -Wall for BPF sources, compiler will complain about lots of unused variables, variables that are set but never read, etc. Fix all these issues first before enabling -Wall in Makefile. libbpf: Provide barrier() and barrier_var() in bpf_helpers.h Add barrier() and barrier_var() macros into bpf_helpers.h to be used by end users. While a bit advanced and specialized instruments, they are sometimes indispensable. Instead of requiring each user to figure out exact asm volatile incantations for themselves, provide them from bpf_helpers.h. Also remove conflicting definitions from selftests. Some tests rely on barrier_var() definition being nothing, those will still work as libbpf does the #ifndef/#endif guarding for barrier() and barrier_var(), allowing users to redefine them, if necessary. selftests/bpf: Remove SEC("version") from test progs Since commit 6c4fc209fcf9d ("bpf: remove useless version check for prog load") these "version" sections, which result in bpf_attr.kern_version being set, have been unnecessary. Remove them so that it's obvious to folks using selftests as a guide that "modern" BPF progs don't need this section. selftests/bpf: Switch SEC("classifier*") usage to a strict SEC("tc") Convert all SEC("classifier*") uses to a new and strict SEC("tc") section name. In reference_tracking selftests switch from ambiguous searching by program title (section name) to non-ambiguous searching by name in some selftests, getting closer to completely removing bpf_object__find_program_by_title(). selftests/bpf: Add test for freplace program with write access This adds a selftest that tests the behavior when a freplace target program attempts to make a write access on a packet. The expectation is that the read or write access is granted based on the program type of the linked program and not itself (which is of type, for e.g., BPF_PROG_TYPE_EXT). This test fails without the associated patch on the verifier. selftests/bpf: Add tests for program extensions Add program extension tests that build on top of fexit_bpf2bpf tests. Replace three global functions in previously loaded test_pkt_access.c program with three new implementations: int get_skb_len(struct __sk_buff *skb); int get_constant(long val); int get_skb_ifindex(int val, struct __sk_buff *skb, int var); New function return the same results as original only if arguments match. new_get_skb_ifindex() demonstrates that 'skb' argument doesn't have to be first and only argument of BPF program. All normal skb based accesses are available. selftests: Use consistent include paths for libbpf Fix all selftests to include libbpf header files with the bpf/ prefix, to be consistent with external users of the library. Also ensure that all includes of exported libbpf header files (those that are exported on 'make install' of the library) use bracketed includes instead of quoted. To not break the build, keep the old include path until everything has been changed to the new one; a subsequent patch will remove that. selftests: bpf: centre kernel bpf objects under new subdir "progs" At the moment, all kernel bpf objects are listed under BPF_OBJ_FILES. Listing them manually sometimes causing patch conflict when people are adding new testcases simultaneously.
