# be36e000 08-Jun-2017 Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

ARM: at91: fix at91_suspend_entering_slow_clock link error

When CONFIG_ARCH_AT91 is enabled, but none of the specific SoC support
is in use, some at91 specific drivers fail to link:

drivers/tty/serial/atmel_serial.o: In function `atmel_serial_suspend':
atmel_serial.c:(.text.atmel_serial_suspend+0x1e): undefined reference to `at91_suspend_entering_slow_clock'
drivers/usb/host/ohci-at91.o: In function `ohci_hcd_at91_drv_suspend':
ohci-at91.c:(.text.ohci_hcd_at91_drv_suspend+0x12): undefined reference to `at91_suspend_entering_slow_clock'
drivers/usb/gadget/udc/at91_udc.o: In function `at91udc_suspend':
at91_udc.c:(.text.at91udc_suspend+0x26): undefined reference to `at91_suspend_entering_slow_clock'

This changes the at91_suspend_entering_slow_clock hack once more, adding
an alternative inline implementation that is used exactly in those cases
that don't provide the normal implementation.

# e0b0baad 13-May-2014 Richard Genoud <richard.genoud@gmail.com>

tty/serial: at91: use mctrl_gpio helpers

On sam9x5, dedicated CTS (and RTS) pins are unusable together with the
LCDC, the EMAC, or the MMC because they share the same line.

Moreover, the USART controller doesn't handle DTR/DSR/DCD/RI signals,
so we have to control them via GPIO.

This patch permits to use GPIOs to control the CTS/RTS/DTR/DSR/DCD/RI
signals.

# 354e57f3 07-Nov-2013 Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

ARM/serial: at91: switch atmel serial to use gpiolib

This passes the errata fix using a GPIO to control the RTS pin
on one of the AT91 chips to use gpiolib instead of the
AT91-specific interfaces. Also remove the reliance on
compile-time #defines and the cpu_* check and rely on the
platform passing down the proper GPIO pin through platform
data.

This is a prerequisite for getting rid of the local GPIO
implementation in the AT91 platform and move toward
multiplatform.

The patch also adds device tree support for getting the
RTS GPIO pin from the device tree on DT boot paths.

# 71b94e2e 09-May-2013 Josh Wu <josh.wu@atmel.com>

mtd: atmel_nand: replace cpu_is_at32ap7000() with a nand platform data

The nand driver use cpu_is_at32ap7000() macro for a workaround. For the
multi-platform support, we will remove this cpu_is_xxx() macro.

This patch adds a boolean variable need_reset_workaround in structure
atmel_nand_data. Using this variable we can remove cpu_is_at32ap7000() macro.

Hans-Christian: Feel free to push this through the mtd tree, if they won't
accept it I'm working on getting my workflow up on the linux-avr32.git tree.

avr32: fix build failures from mis-naming of atmel_nand.h

Commit bf4289cba02b ("ATMEL: fix nand ecc support") indicated that it
wanted to "Move platform data to a common header
include/linux/platform_data/atmel_nand.h" and the new header even had
re-include protectors with:

#ifndef __ATMEL_NAND_H__

However, the file that was added was simply called atmel.h
and this caused avr32 defconfig to fail with:

In file included from arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c:22:
arch/avr32/mach-at32ap/include/mach/board.h:10:44: error: linux/platform_data/atmel_nand.h: No such file or directory

It seems the scope of the file contents will expand beyond
just nand, so ignore the original intention, and fix up the
users who reference the bad name with the _nand suffix.
