# f4e14edf 19-Sep-2016 Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr>

ARM: sa11x0/pxa: acquire timer rate from the clock rate

As both pxa and sa1100 provide a clock to the timer, the rate can be
inferred from the clock rather than hard encoded in a functional call.

This patch changes the pxa timer to have a mandatory clock which is used
as the timer rate.

# a38b1f60 14-Jul-2014 Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr>

ARM: pxa: Add non device-tree timer link to clocksource

As clocksource pxa_timer was moved to clocksource framework, the
pxa_timer initialization needs to be a bit amended, to pass the
necessary informations to clocksource, ie :
- the timer interrupt (mach specific)
- the timer registers base (ditto)
- the timer clockrate
