octeon_ep: cancel queued works in probe error path If it fails to get the devices's MAC address, octep_probe exits while leaving the delayed work intr_poll_task queued. When the work later runs, it's a use after free. Move the cancelation of intr_poll_task from octep_remove into octep_device_cleanup. This does not change anything in the octep_remove flow, but octep_device_cleanup is called also in the octep_probe error path, where the cancelation is needed. Note that the cancelation of ctrl_mbox_task has to follow intr_poll_task's, because the ctrl_mbox_task may be queued by intr_poll_task. octeon_ep: Drop redundant pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() enables the device to send ERR_* Messages. Since f26e58bf6f54 ("PCI/AER: Enable error reporting when AER is native"), the PCI core does this for all devices during enumeration, so the driver doesn't need to do it itself. Remove the redundant pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() call from the driver. Also remove the corresponding pci_disable_pcie_error_reporting() from the driver .remove() path. Note that this only controls ERR_* Messages from the device. An ERR_* Message may cause the Root Port to generate an interrupt, depending on the AER Root Error Command register managed by the AER service driver.
