drm/omap: hdmi4: Rework EDID read to isolate data read In preparation of adding DRM bridge support to the hdmi4 encoder code, rework the EDID read to isolate data read. The hdmi_read_edid() function is the main entry point. It performs all initialisation steps required prior to reading the EDID (such as ensuring the device is powered on), as well as corresponding cleanup steps afterwards. EDID read itself is handled by hdmi_read_edid_data() that calls the hdmi4_core_ddc_read() function to read individual blocks. This new code architecture will allow reusing hdmi_read_edid() and hdmi4_core_ddc_read() for the drm_bridge EDID read implementation, while swapping out hdmi_read_edid_data() for the DRM drm_do_get_edid() function. omapdrm: hdmi4: Correct the SoC revision matching I believe the intention of the commit 2c9fc9bf45f8 ("drm: omapdrm: Move FEAT_HDMI_* features to hdmi4 driver") was to identify omap4430 ES1.x, omap4430 ES2.x and other OMAP4 revisions, like omap4460. By using family=OMAP4 in the match the code will treat omap4460 ES1.x in a same way as it would treat omap4430 ES1.x This breaks HDMI audio on OMAP4460 devices (PandaES for example). Correct the match rule so we are not going to get false positive match. omapdrm: hdmi4: make low-level functions available Three low-level functions in hdmi4.c and hdmi4_core.c are made available for use by the OMAP4 CEC support. Renamed the prefix to hdmi4 since these are OMAP4 specific. These function deal with the HDMI core and are needed to power it up for use with CEC, even when the HPD is low. Background: even if the HPD is low it should still be possible to use CEC. Some displays will set the HPD low when they go into standby or when they switch to another input, but CEC is still available and able to wake up/change input for such a display. This is explicitly allowed by the CEC standard. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Tomi Valkeinen <tomi.valkeinen@ti.com>

drm/omap: fix OMAP4 hdmi_core_powerdown_disable() hdmi_core_powerdown_disable() is supposed to disable HDMI core's power-down mode. However, the function sets the power-down bit to 0, which means "enable power-down". This hasn't caused any issues as the PD seems to affect only interrupts from HDMI core, and none of those interrupts are used at the moment. CEC functionality requires core interrupts, and the PD mode needs to be fixed. This patch fixes hdmi_core_powerdown_disable() to actually disable the PD mode.
