sh: Replace setup_irq() by request_irq() request_irq() is preferred over setup_irq(). Invocations of setup_irq() occur after memory allocators are ready. setup_irq() was required in older kernels as the memory allocator was not available during early boot. Hence replace setup_irq() by request_irq(). SH: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLED Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. Signed-off-by: Yong Zhang <yong.zhang0@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

sh: Mass ctrl_in/outX to __raw_read/writeX conversion. The old ctrl in/out routines are non-portable and unsuitable for cross-platform use. While drivers/sh has already been sanitized, there is still quite a lot of code that is not. This converts the arch/sh/ bits over, which permits us to flag the routines as deprecated whilst still building with -Werror for the architecture code, and to ensure that future users are not added. [PATCH] sh: DMA updates This extends the current SH DMA API somewhat to support a proper virtual channel abstraction, and also works to represent this through the driver model by giving each DMAC its own platform device. There's also a few other minor changes to support a few new CPU subtypes, and make TEI generation for the SH DMAC configurable. Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
