MIPS: SGI-IP27: use asm/sn/agent.h for including HUB related stuff By including agent.h where hub related defines/structs are needed, we have only one place to select, which agent chip (HUB or BEDROCK) is used. MIPS: SGI-IP27: restructure ioc3 register access Break up the big ioc3 register struct into functional pieces to make use in sub-function drivers more straightforward. And while doing that get rid of all volatile access by using readX/writeX. Signed-off-by: Thomas Bogendoerfer <tbogendoerfer@suse.de> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

mips: unify prom_putchar() declarations prom_putchar() is used centrally in early printk infrastructure therefore at least MIPS should agree on the function return type. [paul.burton@mips.com: - Include linux/types.h in asm/setup.h to gain the bool typedef before we start include asm/setup.h elsewhere. - Include asm/setup.h in all files that use or define prom_putchar(). - Also standardise on signed rather than unsigned char argument.] Signed-off-by: Alexander Sverdlin <alexander.sverdlin@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Burton <paul.burton@mips.com> Patchwork: https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/19842/ Cc: linux-mips@linux-mips.org Cc: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org> Cc: James Hogan <jhogan@kernel.org> Cc: Jonas Gorski <jonas.gorski@gmail.com> Cc: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com> Cc: Kate Stewart <kstewart@linuxfoundation.org> Cc: Philippe Ombredanne <pombredanne@nexb.com>

mips: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h> None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. MIPS: early_printk: drop __init annotations We cannot use __init for earlyprintk code or data, since the kernel parameter "keep_bootcon" allows leaving the boot console enabled. Currently MIPS will crash/hang/die if you use keep_bootcon. The patch fixes it at least on Lemote FuLoong mini-PC. Changes for other boards were done based on what I could find with grep... arch: Remove unnecessary inclusions of asm/semaphore.h None of these files use any of the functionality promised by asm/semaphore.h. It's possible that they rely on it dragging in some unrelated header file, but I can't build all these files, so we'll have fix any build failures as they come up. Using get_nasid() to find the console node will blow up nicely if called on a another node than the console node, so use the master_nasid instead and in the unlikely case that one isn't initialized yet, fall back to get_nasid(). Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
