# 680dc624 29-Aug-2017 Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

ARM: OMAP2+: Drop unused omap_init_hdq

We now boot all of mach-omap2 in device tree only mode and
this is now dead code.

# 3d0cb73e 13-Sep-2014 Joe Perches <joe@perches.com>

arm: mach-omap2: Convert pr_warning to pr_warn

Use the more common pr_warn.

# 8ed43df1 08-May-2014 Sourav Poddar <sourav.poddar@ti.com>

ARM: omap2+: skip device build from platform code for dt

For SOCs with dt enabled, device should be build through device tree.
Prevent device build call from platform code, if device tree is
enabled.

# c1d1cd59 26-Jan-2013 Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com>

ARM: OMAP2+: omap_device: remove obsolete pm_lats and early_device code

Remove now-obsolete code from arch/arm/mach-omap2/omap_device.c. This
mostly consists of removing the first attempt at device PM latency
handling. This was never really used, has been replaced by the common
dev_pm_qos code, and needs to go away as part of the DT conversion.
Also, the early platform_device creation code has been removed, as it
appears to be unused.

# b76c8b19 11-Jan-2013 Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

ARM: OMAP2+: Use omap initcalls

This way the initcalls don't run on other SoCs on multiplatform
kernels. Otherwise we'll get something like this when booting
on vexpress:

omap_hwmod: _ensure_mpu_hwmod_is_setup: MPU initiator hwmod mpu not yet registered
...
WARNING: at arch/arm/mach-omap2/pm.c:82 _init_omap_device+0x74/0x94()

ARM: OMAP2+: PRCM: consolidate PRCM-related timeout macros

Consolidate all of the copies of MAX_MODULE_HARDRESET_WAIT and
MAX_MODULE_SOFTRESET_WAIT into one place, arch/arm/mach-omap2/prm.h.

Let's make omap_hwmod local to mach-omap2 for
ARM common zImage support.

# 96b1b29d 21-Jun-2012 Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com>

ARM: OMAP2+: HDQ1W: use omap_device

Convert the old-style device registration code for HDQ1W to use
omap_device. This will allow the driver to be converted to use PM
runtime and to take advantage of the OMAP IP block management
infrastructure (hwmod, PM, etc.).

A side benefit of this conversion is that it also makes the HDQ device
available on OMAP2420. The previous code only enabled it on 2430 and
3430.

# 9e1b7498 08-May-2012 Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com>

ARM: OMAP2+: HDQ1W: add custom reset function

Implement a custom reset function for the HDQ1W IP block. This is
because the HDQ1W IP block, like I2C, has an internal clock gating bit
that needs to be toggled after setting the SOFTRESET bit to allow the
reset to propagate.
