Remove $FreeBSD$: two-line nroff pattern

Remove /^\.\\"\n\.\\"\s*\$FreeBSD\$$\n/

Remove the last vestiges of FDC_DEBUG & FD_DEBUG
FDC_DEBUG is not referenced in any c or header files but traces of it
still remain in other files.

A new jail(8) with a configuration file, to replace the work currently done
by /etc/rc.d/jail.

mdoc: Remove leading garbage, empty lines and order preamble

Create the altix project branch. The altix project will add support
for the SGI Altix 350 to FreeBSD/ia64. The hardware used for porting
is a two-module system, consisting of a base compute module and a
CPU expansion module. SGI's NUMAFlex architecture can be an excellent
platform to test CPU affinity and NUMA-aware features in FreeBSD.

- Import the HEAD csup code which is the basis for the cvsmode work.

Force the use of the tbl(1) preprocessor.

Mechanically kill hard sentence breaks.

Fixed warnings (missing .Ed call).
Fixed grammar (missing punctuation).
Fixed screwup with the SEE ALSO section.

Update manual page.

Give 8" example for the heck of it.

Grammar tweaking. "has been" is very often not as good as "is" or "was".

mdoc(7) police: tidy up the markup.

Second round of floppy disk driver documentation updates: document the
changes in the userland utilities. For fdcontrol(8), i now finally
keep my promise made more than 7 years ago that ``the fdcontrol
utility is currently under development and the user interface will
likely change''. :-)

mdoc(7) police:

Avoid using parenthesis enclosure macros (.Pq and .Po/.Pc) with plain text.
Not only this slows down the mdoc(7) processing significantly, but it also
has an undesired (in this case) effect of disabling hyphenation within the
entire enclosed block.

Remove whitespace at EOL.

mdoc(7) police: use the new features of the Nm macro.

Avoid use of direct troff requests in mdoc(7) manual pages.

Remove single-space hard sentence breaks. These degrade the quality
of the typeset output, tend to make diffs harder to read and provide
bad examples for new-comers to mdoc.

Xref to warn(3) which is used instead of perror.

$Id$ -> $FreeBSD$

Add $Id$, to make it simpler for members of the translation teams to
track.

The Id line is normally at the bottom of the main comment block in the
man page, separated from the rest of the manpage by an empty comment,
like so;

.\" $Id$
.\"

If the immediately preceding comment is a @(#) format ID marker than the
the $Id$ will line up underneath it with no intervening blank lines.
Otherwise, an additional blank line is inserted.

Fix a bunch of spelling errors in a bunch of man pages.

Import the fdcontrol command. It has been in 1.1.5, but obviously has been lost on its way to 2.0.
This program uses the FD_DEBUG ioctl, which will have to be commited yet.
