cycle.

Prune svn:mergeinfo from the new branch, and rename it to RC1.

Update __FreeBSD_version.

Use the quarterly branch for the default FreeBSD.conf pkg(8) repo and
the dvd1.iso packages population.

Carry volatile type in cast so gcc 4.2 will be happy.

- Merge the pdq driver (if_fpa and if_fea) from NetBSD.
Among other things this gets us ifmedia support.
- Update fddi_ifattach() to take an additional argument.

Remove unneeded <stddef.h> #includes.

This commit was generated by cvs2svn to compensate for changes in r21826,
which included commits to RCS files with non-trunk default branches.

Finally import the 960801 of Matt Thomas' DEC FDDI driver. I'm
importing it onto a vendor branch first, in the hope that this will
make future maintenance easier.

The conflicts are (hopefully) unimportant. More commits that actually
bring this into the source tree will follow.
