Copy stable/11@r303970 to releng/11.0 as part of the 11.0-RELEASE cycle.
Prune svn:mergeinfo from the new branch, and rename it to RC1.
Update __FreeBSD_version.
Use the quarterly branch for the default FreeBSD.conf pkg(8) repo and the dvd1.iso packages population.

Make WARNS=6 the default for libexec/.
Just like bin/ and sbin/, I think setting WARNS to the highest value possible will make it more attractive for people to fix warnings.
- The WARNS variable is set in the Makefile in the directory of the application itself, making it more likely that it will be removed out of curiosity to see what happens. - New applications will most likely build with WARNS=6 out of the box, because the author would more likely fix the warnings during development than lower WARNS.
Unfortunately almost all apps in libexec require a lowered value of WARNS.

Make the long-awaited change from $Id$ to $FreeBSD$
This will make a number of things easier in the future, as well as (finally!) avoiding the Id-smashing problem which has plagued developers for so long.
Boy, I'm glad we're not using sup anymore. This update would have been insane otherwise.

(This import had better work correctly or so help me I'll move to the Himalayas and become a hermit.)
Import new mknetid program. This replaces the crufty, soon to be defunct mknetid script packaged with ypserv.
This program parses the group, passwd, hosts and netid databases into the netid.byname map. Duplicate checking is performed using hash tables. Testing on my 486DX2/66 with FreeBSD 2.1.0 showed that this program can process a 30,000-entry passwd database into a netid map (along with assorted group and hosts information) in about 22 seconds. On my SPARC IPX with SunOS 4.1.3, it takes about 15 seconds. This compares favorably with the SunOS mknetid program, which parses the same database(s) in 13 seconds. (With smaller databases, my program is actually slightly faster. Go figure.)
