1\section{wxHTML overview}\label{wxhtml} 2 3This topic was written by Vaclav Slavik, the author of the wxHTML library. 4 5The wxHTML library provides classes for parsing and displaying HTML. 6 7It is not intended to be a high-end HTML browser. If you are looking for 8something like that try \urlref{http://www.mozilla.org}{http://www.mozilla.org}. 9 10wxHTML can be used as a generic rich text viewer - for example to display 11a nice About Box (like those of GNOME apps) or to display the result of 12database searching. There is a \helpref{wxFileSystem}{wxfilesystem} 13class which allows you to use your own virtual file systems. 14 15wxHtmlWindow supports tag handlers. This means that you can easily 16extend wxHtml library with new, unsupported tags. Not only that, 17you can even use your own application-specific tags! 18See {\tt src/html/m\_*.cpp} files for details. 19 20There is a generic wxHtmlParser class, 21independent of wxHtmlWindow. 22 23\input htmlstrt.tex 24\input htmlprn.tex 25\input htmlhlpf.tex 26\input htmlfilt.tex 27\input htmlcell.tex 28\input htmlhand.tex 29\input htmltags.tex 30 31
