5This is a beta release.

7The library itself is complete.  Documentation exists in the form of
8man pages for the library functions, though a few pages are still
9incomplete.

11This release is incorporated into FreeBSD-CURRENT as of 2002-04-08.
12It has also been successfully built on NetBSD, and should build with
13minimal or no changes on OpenBSD.  It has not been tested on any other
14OS.

16Known issues:

18  - The documentation is still incomplete.

20  - It should be possible to create incomplete modules without
21    recourse to placeholders or elaborate preprocessor tricks.  This
22    is made difficult by the requirement that it should be possible to
23    link modules statically.
