5This is a beta release.

7The library itself is complete.  Documentation exists in the form of
8man pages for the library functions, though some pages are still
9incomplete.

11This release is incorporated into FreeBSD-CURRENT as of 2002-03-14.
12It has not been tested on any other OS, though it should build and run
13with minimal tweaks on NetBSD and OpenBSD.
