Integrate tools/regression/lib/libc/stdio into the FreeBSD test suite

Sponsored by: EMC / Isilon Storage Division

printfloat_test and scanfloat_test need symbols from msun; these are automatically
provided on amd64, but not i386. Add libm to DPADD/LDADD to unbreak the i386
tinderbox

r290560:

Convert print_positional_test over to ATF

Somehow missed in r290537

Sponsored by: EMC / Isilon Storage Division

r290856 (by bapt):

also skip the definition of ':fopen_regular' to avoid the build to fail due to
unused variables defined by ATF macros

r290871:

Disable -Wformat with scanfloat_test when compiling with gcc to avoid a
"use of assignment suppression and length modifier together in scanf format"
warning on line 90 (it's intentional)

Sponsored by: EMC / Isilon Storage Division

r291839:

Initialize errno to 0 in the nul testcase before testing it

For some odd reason stable/10 requires this, otherwise it always fails
the errno == 0 check on line 196.

as clause 3.

Pointed out by: das@

Remove my name as a copyright holder since I don't use a BSD license
compatible or comparable to the UCB license. I choose not to add a
complete second license for my work for aesthetic reasons, nor to
replace the UCB license on grounds of rewriting more than 90% of the
source files. The rewrite can also be seen as an enhancement and since
the files were practically empty, it's rather trivial to have changed
90% of the files.

/freebsd-10-stable/lib/csu/common/
H A Dcrtbrand.cdiff 217375 Thu Jan 13 18:59:17 MST 2011 dim Apply a workaround for a binutils issue with the .note.ABI-tag section
generated from lib/csu/common/crtbrand.c (which ultimately ends up in
executables and shared libraries, via crt1.o, gcrt1.o or Scrt1.o).

For all arches except sparc, gcc emits the section directive for the
abitag struct in crtbrand.c with a PROGBITS type. However, newer
versions of binutils (after 2.16.90) require the section to be of NOTE
type, to guarantee that the .note.ABI-tag section correctly ends up in
the first page of the final executable.

Unfortunately, there is no clean way to tell gcc to use another section
type, so crtbrand.c (or the C files that include it) must be compiled in
multiple steps:

- Compile the .c file to a .s file.
- Edit the .s file to change the 'progbits' type to 'note', for the section
directive that defines the .note.ABI-tag section.
- Compile the .s file to an object file.

These steps are done in the invididual Makefiles for each applicable arch.

virtualization work done by Marko Zec (zec@).

This is the first in a series of commits over the course
of the next few weeks.

Mark all uses of global variables to be virtualized
with a V_ prefix.
Use macros to map them back to their global names for
now, so this is a NOP change only.

We hope to have caught at least 85-90% of what is needed
so we do not invalidate a lot of outstanding patches again.

/freebsd-10-stable/usr.bin/indent/
H A Dio.cdiff 125736 Thu Feb 12 14:25:12 MST 2004 bde Only indent once for continuation lines when not lining up with
parentheses if the continuation indent is exactly half of the main
indent. Indenting one contination indent for every level of
parentheses gives bad results in most cases and is not what is done
in about 90% of properly hand-formatted KNF code (sys/kern/*.c,
nvi/common/*.c). The main advantage of the non-default KNF options
-nlp -ci4 is that continuation lines don't accidentally line up with
the next main indentation level or march to the right, and increasing
their indentation defeats this.

This behaviour change is limited to when the continuation indent is
exactly half of the main indent to avoid adding yet another option.

H A Dcrt1.cdiff 100167 Tue Jul 16 10:28:50 MDT 2002 markm The main reason for this is to reduce diffs between all the crt1.c's.

Assembler macros are tidied up and made as similar as sanely possible.
The macros are translated into C (__inline static) functions for lint.

Declaration orders are made the same.
Declarations are all ISOfied and tidied up.

Comment contents have gratuitous diffs removed.

The net result is a bunch of crt1.c's that are 90% the same.
It may be possible to now encapsulate the differences in one
MD header, and have only one MI crt1.c file (although the macros
to do this may be ugly).
