H A Dbpf_jit_comp.cdiff 10f3b29c Tue May 31 15:51:13 MDT 2022 Eric Dumazet <edumazet@google.com> bpf, arm64: Clear prog->jited_len along prog->jited

syzbot reported an illegal copy_to_user() attempt
from bpf_prog_get_info_by_fd() [1]

There was no repro yet on this bug, but I think
that commit 0aef499f3172 ("mm/usercopy: Detect vmalloc overruns")
is exposing a prior bug in bpf arm64.

bpf_prog_get_info_by_fd() looks at prog->jited_len
to determine if the JIT image can be copied out to user space.

My theory is that syzbot managed to get a prog where prog->jited_len
has been set to 43, while prog->bpf_func has ben cleared.

It is not clear why copy_to_user(uinsns, NULL, ulen) is triggering
this particular warning.

I thought find_vma_area(NULL) would not find a vm_struct.
As we do not hold vmap_area_lock spinlock, it might be possible
that the found vm_struct was garbage.

H A Damdgpu_drv.cdiff 3993a799 Thu Jan 13 23:51:41 MST 2022 Lukas Fink <lukas.fink1@gmail.com> drm/amdgpu: Fix rejecting Tahiti GPUs

eb4fd29afd4a ("drm/amdgpu: bind to any 0x1002 PCI diplay class device") added
generic bindings to amdgpu so that that it binds to all display class devices
with VID 0x1002 and then rejects those in amdgpu_pci_probe.

Unfortunately it reuses a driver_data value of 0 to detect those new bindings,
which is already used to denote CHIP_TAHITI ASICs.

The driver_data value given to those new bindings was changed in
dd0761fd24ea1 ("drm/amdgpu: set CHIP_IP_DISCOVERY as the asic type by default")
to CHIP_IP_DISCOVERY (=36), but it seems that the check in amdgpu_pci_probe
was forgotten to be changed. Therefore, it still rejects Tahiti GPUs.

LPUART. Given that, there's no need for us to restrict the prototype
of the handler to irqreturn_t foo(int, void *) and we can drop all of
uneened boilerplate code by changing it void foo(struct lpuart_port *).
