So rename x86_io_apic_ops to 'x86_apic_ops' since it doesn't only handle the IO-APIC, but also the local APIC. Also rename its member variables and the related callbacks. The old code for msi_msg generation was split up into the irq-remapped and the default case. The irq-remapped case just calls into the specific Intel or AMD implementation when the device is behind an IOMMU. Otherwise the default function is called. Some APICs return cpu_online_mask and others cpus_all_mask. The latter is bogus as it does not take holes in the cpus_possible_mask into account. Replace it with cpus_online_mask which makes the most sense and remove the callback. The usage sites will be removed in a later step anyway, so get rid of it now to have incremental changes. So consolidate the common part into one place, which is also preparing for irqdomain support. It introduces mp_map_gsi_to_irq(), which will be used to allocate IRQ number IOAPIC pins when irqdomain is enabled. Also rename gsi_to_irq() to map_gsi_to_irq(), later we will introduce unmap_gsi_to_irq() when enabling IOAPIC hotplug. The latter causes a full boot fail. The restriction itself makes sense to avoid adding DOMAIN_BUS_ANY matches into the various ARM specific select() callbacks. Reverting this change would obviously break ARM platforms again and require DOMAIN_BUS_ANY matches added to various places. A simpler solution is to use the DOMAIN_BUS_GENERIC_MSI token for the HPET and IO-APIC parent domain search. This works out of the box because the affected parent domains check only for the firmware specification content and not for the bus token. Some APICs return cpu_online_mask and others cpus_all_mask. The latter is bogus as it does not take holes in the cpus_possible_mask into account. Replace it with cpus_online_mask which makes the most sense and remove the callback. The usage sites will be removed in a later step anyway, so get rid of it now to have incremental changes. This causes broken semantics which can be observed in a qemu q35 machine, where ioapic's ioredtbl[x] can never be set as low-active, even if the hpet driver registered it. And hpet driver may share a high-level active IRQ line with other devices. So in qemu, when hpet-dev asserts low-level as kernel expects, the kernel has no response. With this patch, we can observe an ioredtbl[x] set as low-active for hpet. Fix it by reporting -EBUSY to the caller, when attr is different.
