These functions are DEPRECATED and NON-PORTABLE implementation of mutex types
manipulation.

functions instead.

The
.Fn pthread_mutexattr_getkind_np
function returns positive value representing

of mutex attribute

if successful; otherwise the value -1 is returned and the global variable

is set to indicate the error.
