add missing includes and forward declarations to networking includes under linux/ Similarly to a recent include/net/ cleanup, this patch adds missing includes to networking headers under include/linux. All these problems are currently masked by the existing users including the missing dependency before the broken header. ppp: Change copyright notices from ANU to me This changes the copyright notices on the PPP code that I developed in the late 1990s from being copyright The Australian National University to copyright Paul Mackerras. I can do this as I have an acknowledgement in writing from the Head of the Computer Science Department at ANU (where I worked then) that ANU does not claim any intellectual property in this code. While I'm at it, change the copyright notice from BSD-style to GNU GPL like the rest of the kernel. Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org> Signed-off-by: David S. [PPP]: add PPP MPPE encryption module From: Matt Domsch <Matt_Domsch@dell.com> The patch below implements the Microsoft Point-to-Point Encryption method as a PPP compressor/decompressor. This is necessary for Linux clients and servers to interoperate with Microsoft Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) servers (either Microsoft PPTP servers or the poptop project) which use MPPE to encrypt data when creating a VPN. This patch differs from the kernel_ppp_mppe DKMS pacakge at pptpclient.sourceforge.net by utilizing the kernel crypto routines rather than providing its own SHA1 and arcfour implementations. Minor changes to ppp_generic.c try to prevent a link from disabling compression (in our case, the encryption) after it has started using compression (encryption). Feedback to <pptpclient-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> please. Signed-off-by: Matt Domsch <Matt_Domsch@dell.com> Cc: James Cameron <james.cameron@hp.com> Cc: "David S. Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
