HID: add quirk for 03f0:464a HP Elite Presenter Mouse HP Elite Presenter Mouse HID Record Descriptor shows two mouses (Repord ID 0x1 and 0x2), one keypad (Report ID 0x5), two Consumer Controls (Report IDs 0x6 and 0x3). Previous to this commit it registers one mouse, one keypad and one Consumer Control, and it was usable only as a digitl laser pointer (one of the two mouses). HID: retain initial quirks set up when creating HID devices In certain circumstances, such as when creating I2C-connected HID devices, we want to pass and retain some quirks (axis inversion, etc). The source of such quirks may be device tree, or DMI data, or something else not readily available to the HID core itself and therefore cannot be reconstructed easily. To allow this, introduce "initial_quirks" field in hid_device structure and use it when determining the final set of quirks. This fixes the problem with i2c-hid setting up device-tree sourced quirks too late and losing them on device rebind, and also allows to sever the tie between hid-code and i2c-hid when applying DMI-based quirks. Fixes: b60d3c803d76 ("HID: i2c-hid-of: Expose the touchscreen-inverted properties") Fixes: a2f416bf062a ("HID: multitouch: Add quirks for flipped axes") Reviewed-by: Guenter Roeck <groeck@chromium.org> Tested-by: Allen Ballway <ballway@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Alistair Francis <alistair@alistair23.me> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/Y+LYwu3Zs13hdVDy@google.com Signed-off-by: Benjamin Tissoires <benjamin.tissoires@redhat.com>

HID: multitouch: Add quirks for flipped axes Certain touchscreen devices, such as the ELAN9034, are oriented incorrectly and report touches on opposite points on the X and Y axes. For example, a 100x200 screen touched at (10,20) would report (90, 180) and vice versa. This is fixed by adding device quirks to transform the touch points into the correct spaces, from X -> MAX(X) - X, and Y -> MAX(Y) - Y. HID: quirks: Add HID_QUIRK_NO_INIT_REPORTS quirk for Dell K15A keyboard-dock Just like the K12A the Dell K15A keyboard-dock has problems with get_feature requests. This sometimes leads to several "failed to fetch feature 8" messages getting logged, after which the touchpad may or may not work. Just like the K15A these errors are triggered by undocking and docking the tablet. There also seem to be other problems when undocking and then docking again in quick succession. It seems that in this case the keyboard-controller still retains some power from capacitors and does not go through a power-on-reset leaving it in a confuses state, symptoms of this are: 1. The USB-ids changing to 048d:8910 2. Failure to read the HID descriptors on the second (mouse) USB intf. 3. The touchpad freezing after a while These problems can all be cleared by undocking the keyboard and waiting a full minute before redocking it. HID: logitech-dj: Handle newer quad/bt2.0 receivers in HID proxy mode The Dinovo Edge and Dinovo Mini keyboards with builtin touchpad come with a different version of the quad/bt2.0 combo receivers shipped with the MX5000 and MX5500 keyboards. These receivers are compatible with one another, e.g. the Dinovo Edge keyboard can be paired with the MX5000 receiver. Like the MX5x00 receivers in HID proxy mode these receivers present themselves as a hub with multiple USB-HID devices, one for the keyboard and one for the mouse. Where they differ is that the mouse USB-device has 2 input reports for reporting mice events. It has the exact same INPUT(2) report as the MX5x00 receivers, but it also has a second INPUT(5) mouse report which is different; and when the Dinovo receivers are paired with the Dinovo keyboards the second INPUT(5) mouse report is actually used for events on the builtin touchpad. Add support for handling the Dinovo quad/bluetooth-2.0 combo receivers in HID proxy mode to logitech-dj, like we already do for the similar MX5000 and MX5500 receivers. This adds battery monitoring functionality (through logitech-hidpp) and fixes the Phone (Fn + F1) and "[A]" - "[D]" (Fn + F9 - F12) hotkeys not working on the Dinovo Edge. Note these receivers present themselves as a hub with 2 separate USB devices for the keyboard and mouse; and the logitech-dj code needs to bind to both devices (just as with the MX5x00 receivers). HID: quirks: Refactor ELAN 400 and 401 handling There needs to be coordination between hid-quirks and the elan_i2c driver about which devices are handled by what drivers. Currently, both use whitelists, which results in valid devices being unhandled by default, when they should not be rejected by hid-quirks. This is quickly becoming an issue. Since elan_i2c has a maintained whitelist of what devices it will handle, which is now in a header file that hid-quirks can access, use that to implement a blacklist in hid-quirks so that only the devices that need to be handled by elan_i2c get rejected by hid-quirks, and everything else is handled by default. HID: logitech-dj: add support for 27 MHz receivers Most Logitech wireless keyboard and mice using the 27 MHz are hidpp10 devices, add support to logitech-dj for their receivers. Doing so leads to 2 improvements: 1) All these devices share the same USB product-id for their receiver, making it impossible to properly map some special keys / buttons which differ from device to device. Adding support to logitech-dj to see these as hidpp10 devices allows us to get the actual device-id from the keyboard / mouse. 2) It enables battery-monitoring of these devices This patch uses a new HID group for 27Mhz devices, since the logitech-hidpp code needs to be able to differentiate them from other devices instantiated by the logitech-dj code. It turns out that a later model Laurent got doesn't need the quirk after all. My take is that Eaton upgraded their firmwares, so we don't need it anymore. The old model was from 2012, so better make sure the new line works properly by removing the quirk. This allows upower to actually fetch the current data. HID: sony: Add touchpad support for NSG-MR5U and NSG-MR7U remotes Sony's NSG-MR5U and NSG-MR7U remote controls have a full keyboard and a touchpad. The keyboard is already supported by the existing Linux kernel and drivers but the touchpad is not recognized. This patch adds the coded needed to bring full functionality to the touchpad. Note that these remotes use the vendor code for SMK even though they are Sony branded. Known limitations - The built-in accelerometers are not supported by these changes - When the Drag (Fn) key is used as a mouse button, the button is automatically released when the key begins repeating. There are two workarounds for this 1) Use the button behind the touchpad instead of the Drag (Fn) key or 2) Disable the key repeat functionality or increase the key repeat delay. HID: elecom: refer to trackballs by model name instead of series This patch changes all references to ELECOM trackballs using their series name to refer to them by their model name. ELECOM provides multiple series of mice such as EX-G, HUGE, and DEFT. Although it has not caused conflicts in the driver, there can be more than one iteration of mice in each series. For example, there are 7 variants of EX-G trackballs but only three (M-XT3URBK, M-XT3DRBK, and M-XT4DRBK) need a driver to work correctly. There are also 4 DEFT series trackballs but two of them have the same VID:PID as the other two. I picked the earlier model for the naming of the PID macros. HID: quirks: Fix keyboard + touchpad on Toshiba Click Mini not working The Toshiba Click Mini uses an i2c attached keyboard/touchpad combo (single i2c_hid device for both) which has a vid:pid of 04F3:0401, which is also used by a bunch of Elan touchpads which are handled by the drivers/input/mouse/elan_i2c driver, but that driver deals with pure touchpads and does not work for a combo device such as the one on the Toshiba Click Mini. The combo on the Mini has an ACPI id of ELAN0800, which is not claimed by the elan_i2c driver, so check for that and if it is found do not ignore the device. This fixes the keyboard/touchpad combo on the Mini not working (although with the touchpad in mouse emulation mode). HID: elecom: rewrite report fixup for EX-G and future mice This patch rewrites the mouse report fixup used for the DEFT and HUGE elecom trackballs in order to make it generic enough to fix other elecom mice with similar issues. This patch also uses this new report fixup function to fix the Elecom EX-G trackball which has 6 physical buttons and a similar issue to the other two mice. Elecom's track record has so far shown that they like to re-use the same report descriptor for multiple different mice regardless of the number of buttons the mouse has. This means that the missing buttons on multiple mice can be fixed in one function without introducing phantom buttons which would in turn cause the number of mouse buttons to be misreported to userspace. This patch drops the very verbose report descriptor "diff" comment for a more abridged yet hopefully just as informative generic version. HID: asus: Add product-id for the T100TAF and T100HA keyboard docks The T100TAF and T100HA keyboard docks have the same special keys and custom protocol multitouch touchpad as the T100TA, but use a different product id. The T100TAF and T100HA both use the same product id, but the T100HA's touchpad has a different coordinate range.
