drm/i915/uapi: expose the avail tracking Vulkan would like to have a rough measure of how much device memory can in theory be allocated. Also add unallocated_cpu_visible_size to track the visible portion, in case the device is using small BAR. Also tweak the locking so we nice consistent values for both the mm->avail and the visible tracking. v2: tweak the locking slightly so we update the mm->avail and visible tracking as one atomic operation, such that userspace doesn't get strange values when sampling the values. drm/i915/selftests: exercise mmap migration Exercise each of the migration scenarios, verifying that the final placement and buffer contents match our expectations. v2(Thomas): Replace for_i915_gem_ww() block with simpler object_lock() v3: - For testing purposes allow forcing the io_size such that we can exercise the allocation + migration path on devices that don't have the small BAR limit. drm/i915/buddy: track available visible size Track the total amount of available visible memory, and also track per-resource the amount of used visible memory. For now this is useful for our debug output, and deciding if it is even worth calling into the buddy allocator. In the future tracking the per-resource visible usage will be useful for when deciding if we should attempt to evict certain buffers. v2: - s/place->lpfn/lpfn/, that way we can avoid scanning the list if the entire range is already mappable. - Move the end declaration inside the if block(Thomas). - Make sure to also account for reserved memory. drm/i915: support forcing the page size with lmem For some specialised objects we might need something larger than the regions min_page_size due to some hw restriction, and slightly more hairy is needing something smaller with the guarantee that such objects will never be inserted into any GTT, which is the case for the paging structures. This also fixes how we setup the BO page_alignment, if we later migrate the object somewhere else. For example if the placements are {SMEM, LMEM}, then we might get this wrong. Pushing the min_page_size behaviour into the manager should fix this. v2(Thomas): push the default page size behaviour into buddy_man, and let the user override it with the page-alignment, which looks cleaner v3: rebase on ttm sys changes Signed-off-by: Matthew Auld <matthew.auld@intel.com> Cc: Thomas Hellström <thomas.hellstrom@linux.intel.com> Reviewed-by: Thomas Hellström <thomas.hellstrom@linux.intel.com> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20210625103824.558481-1-matthew.auld@intel.com
