# 31212be4 09-Jun-2022 Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be>

dt-bindings: gpio: renesas,rcar-gpio: R-Car V3U is R-Car Gen4

Despite the name, R-Car V3U is the first member of the R-Car Gen4
family. Hence move its compatible value to the R-Car Gen4 section.

dt-bindings: gpio: renesas,rcar-gpio: Add r8a779f0 support

Document support for the GPIO controller blocks in the Renesas R-Car
S4-8 (R8A779F0) SoC, including a new family-specific compatible value
for the R-Car Gen4 family.

# 2a84708c 08-Jan-2021 Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be>

dt-bindings: gpio: rcar: Add r8a779a0 support

Document the compatible value for the GPIO block in the Renesas R-Car
V3U (R8A779A0) SoC.

While this GPIO block is mostly compatible with GPIO blocks on R-Car
Gen3 SoCs, there are small differences, and one of the new registers
needs to be configured differently from its initial reset state.

dt-bindings: gpio: renesas, rcar-gpio: Add r8a774e1 support

Document Renesas RZ/G2H (R8A774E1) GPIO blocks compatibility within the
relevant dt-bindings. R8A774E1 GPIO module is identical to R-Car Gen3
family.

No driver change is needed due to the fallback compatible value
"renesas,rcar-gen3-gpio".

dt-bindings: Whitespace clean-ups in schema files

Clean-up incorrect indentation, extra spaces, long lines, and missing
EOF newline in schema files. Most of the clean-ups are for list
indentation which should always be 2 spaces more than the preceding
keyword.

Found with yamllint (which I plan to integrate into the checks).

dt-bindings: gpio: rcar: Convert to json-schema

Convert the Renesas General-Purpose Input/Output Ports (GPIO) Device
Tree binding documentation to json-schema.

Drop the deprecated "renesas,gpio-rcar" compatible value.
Document missing properties.
Drop the first example, as it doesn't add much value.
